The NCRCA Exam Team oversees the design, development, administration, and scoring of all certification exams offered by the National Clinical Research Certification Association (NCRCA). Our mission is to ensure that all examinations accurately reflect national standards, job role competencies, and evolving industry regulations to prepare clinical research professionals for real-world responsibilities.

- Ensuring each exam reflects the current scope of practice and global regulatory expectations

- Supporting sponsors, CROs, and employers with qualified, certified professionals they can trust
š Exam Development and Oversight
Each NCRCA credential is developed through a structured process that includes:
- Job Task Analyses (JTAs) conducted with subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Alignment with national certification benchmarks and GCRAA global standards
- Continuous review and updating to reflect changes in the clinical research landscape
- Secure item banking, psychometric analysis, and exam blueprint validation
NCRCA exams are designed to assess critical thinking, procedural knowledge, patient interaction, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance for each clinical research role.

- Standard Online Exams with remote proctoring
- One-Day National Certification Bridge Exams (with skills testing)
- Free Biannual Certification Challenge Conferences in Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C.
- In-Person Group Exams for accredited employer training sessions

Exam content is highly protected and may not be copied, shared, or duplicated. NCRCA will take legal action against any individual or organization attempting to compromise the integrity of its exams or intellectual property.
